Fears and Phobias

Winning the Game of Fear

Are you suffering from irrational fears? Phobias controlling your life?

You know you shouldn’t be afraid but suddenly you want to run away.

It starts with an uncomfortable feeling. Then it grows into an overwhelming panic attack. It’s so exhausting and frustrating to live this way.

One thing for sure – when you were a baby you only had 2 legitimate fears: Loud Noises and Falling. Everything else is a learned behavior. That means we can unlearn them in a single session.

Whether you’re terrified of dogs, heights, or public speaking, you’re not alone. According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), approximately 10 percent of people in the U.S. have specific phobias and 7.1 percent experience social phobias, of which 30% were severe cases.

Hypnotherapy is an efficient and natural way to relieve the fear or phobia. We work closely to understand the nature of that fear, how it uniquely affects you, and which part to get rid of or lessen.

So let’s say that you have arachnophobia, fear of spiders.  We may know that spiders are small and harmless. Yet, we perceive spiders with exaggerated threat. We can build our lives around these fears so that your mind learn how to live a life without fear-based reaction.

I use hypnotherapy to guide you to dissociate the fear or phobia so you can create new space to live a new way.
